From Garage to Community-Driven Gym
Generation Strong started the way strength often does—in the garage.
When the world shut down in 2020, Serenity began training in our garage with a handful of kettlebells and a small group of friends. No mirrors, no trends, no shortcuts—just consistent practice and a belief in what strength can do. Some of those first students are still training with us today.
As our community grew, so did our vision. We needed a space that reflected what we believed: That strength is worth pursuing. That it changes lives. That it brings people together.
We found a beautiful, light-filled space in the original Arhaus headquarters—full of character, history, and potential. From the start, our goal was clear: honor the building’s aesthetic while creating a space designed for serious training.
So we built a gym we wanted to train in—open, intentional, welcoming. Generation Strong is now a StrongFirst Accredited facility with certified coaches, structured programming, and a community of students who show up for each other.
A Look Behind the Build

Meet Luke & Serenity
We built a space where we wanted to spend our time in. Generation Strong isn’t work for us. It’s where we train, where we connect, and where we’ve poured our passion into something that matters.
Serenity is a StrongFirst Elite Instructor with thousands of hours of experience coaching people from all walks of life. She leads with purpose, precision, and a deep belief that strength is for everyone, regardless of age, background, or experience.
Luke is StrongFirst certified and deeply invested in building a space where people feel seen, supported, and challenged to grow.
We live in this community. Our families live here. And the people in this gym? They’ve become family, too.
We’re passionate about strength—not just what it does in the gym but also what it creates outside of it: confidence, resilience, and stronger, more connected communities.
